Koptchev company is established in 1991 by Krassimir Koptchev, graduated economist, as a company for industrial chains - roller chains and round link chains. The range of articles extends gradually covering other kinds of chains - conveyor chains, cogged chains, hollow pin chains, load chains, special chains with different attachments - as well as various hanging articles - hooks, shackles, bars, etc.

In 2003, with joining of the second generation of the family, represented by Miroslav Koptchev, in the company, it develops into Koptchev & Sons Ltd. and expands its activity in a few new directions:

1. Chains and Accessories (the main direction), gets a bigger development and is specialized in three categories:

• Chains for industry - standard and special;
• Chains for agriculture - standard and special;
• Hanging articles.

We have in stock considerable quantities of standard roller and round link chains, special chains for agriculture and various hanging accessories of high quality. Koptchev & Sons Ltd. company is one of the biggest companies for chains in Bulgaria and it is the single company in our country which covers and supplies the full range of chains.

Parallel with the direction Chains and Accessories we develop and work actively in some other spheres:

2. Steel ropes, rope hanging accessories and components for ropes connecting;
3. Steel wire cloths;
4. Rubber belts;
5. Synthetic lifting bands and belts;
6. Spare parts.

Parallel with the chains we offer also a huge variety of stainless wire cloths and reinforced rubber V-belts. A new enlargement of our stock with hanging accessories and components for ropes connecting of high strength is forthcoming.

Koptchev & Sons Ltd. works in cooperation with companies leading in their spheres from Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Holland, Italy, Ukraine, Romania etc. Our customers in Bulgaria are more than 180 private and state enterprises from the energetic industry, mine industry, chemical industry, metallurgy, cement production, machinery construction, port activities, electric and railway transport, including Bulgarian branches of big international companies. More and more agricultural co-operations, large-scale landlords, and separate grain-producers in the agriculture become our customers. In the state branch we have won 25 public auctions for now.

Having past over and resisted all the difficulties and tests of the transition in our country, we are prepared for the forthcoming challenge produced by the entry of Bulgaria in EU.
